Good, but the spatula splintered. Nov 20, 2009 I've had this set for a while, and it's good overall, but the spatula is splintering at the sides. Everything else is still like new, though, so maybe I just got a bad spatula.
The tongs do take some getting used to, and should only be used for thinner/lighter foods. Thin chicken breasts, quesadillas, you get the idea. I get a lot of use out of the tongs in my kitchen, since those are usually the kinds of foods I'm cooking.
The spoon is good, but I'm disappointed with how shallow it is. It's not so much a bamboo spoon, as a bamboo stick with a slight indentation at the end. It is my longest spoon, so I need it to stir food as it cooks, but I always have to use one of the shorter spoons when it's time to serve, which gets pretty inconvenient for someone whose only dishwasher is my hand with a sponge in it.
All minor gripes aside, I do like this set, and I do use it every day.
Fantastic Deal Jul 10, 2009 I got this set of utensils on a 4 for 3 promotion when I ordered a wok, wok ring, and wok lid. The utensils clean very easily and seem to work very well for managing the food inside the wok. Great product from my experience.

Just ok Mar 21, 2009 When I received my order the Utensil Holder was split from bottom to top. I was also not extremely happy with the bamboo utensils. I have other bamboo spoons and find the quality of these not very good.

Nice set at a good price. Mar 18, 2009 I like these bamboo utensils a lot. The only drawback for me is that the tongs are a little flimsy. The other pieces work really well, though, especially with stir fries.

sturdy and good looking Feb 07, 2009 I bought this bamboo set after considering various silicone alternatives, which are A) a lot more expensive, and B) pretty unattractive. I think when beauty marries function, that's the ideal combo. Super practical, easy on the eyes. Joyce Chen offers a good variety of utensils -- two spatulas, a spoon, tongs -- just what you really need. And these wont scratch your non-stick or your stainless. And perhaps most important, you get the utensils plus the holder (I got mine on sale) for about what you'd pay for one silicon very non-green tool. The whole thing doesn't take up much room, so you can park the holder handily by the stove. I was pleased with the purchase.
