Kanji are the ancient characters used in the modern Japanese writing system. In this striking pendant, the kanji for "Joy" is etched in fine calligraphy on one side of this oxidized sterling silver pendant with an English translation on the other side. Attached to a black satin cord with a jump ring and secured by a sterling lobster claw closure, this pendant is a joy in any language. Made in New Mexico, USA.

A very nice little pendent, I would recommend you spend a few dollars and get a nice silver chain (The antiqued silver looks very nice with it.) as the rope necklace doesn't do it justice.

as an aside note make sure you stop by a local jewelers for some cleaning cloth's or a cleaning dip if it should tarnish (Never use a home cleaning solution as it is acidic and will damage the silver.)
