Very Useful Nov 20, 2009 This is one of my favorite books for the tarot. Useful! It gives insight into the numerical symbolism and outlines of the meanings. There are charts that outline the major and minor arcana and how to connect different cards- like reinforcing and opposing card values. It also goes into how to create your own spread. It teaches you how to understand the story from the cards. Very basic and easy to work with. I'd recommend this book to anyone starting out with the tarot or who wants to refine their skill. I've used this book for awhile and it's one of the best.

Easy & Helpful Read Jun 26, 2009 I really enjoy this book. I refer to the descriptions of the cards often and always find them helful and easy to understand and relate to. They help me to clarify my response to the cards in my readings. The exercises she suggests are also great tools to deepen your understanding of and relationship with your cards. I would highly reccommend this book and I feel it is a must-have for a beginner tarot reader.
great place to start. Apr 26, 2009 I got allot out of this book. For a beginner it's a great place to start.
Great Instight into the various interpretations of all the cards Mar 23, 2009 I really enjoyed reading this book. It gives a great overall scope of each card and I loved the simplified charts of the Major and the minor arcana cards. I usually have trouble with the court cards and this book did a great job covering them, this helped me a lot. I did a few of the exercises but the strength of the book is in the interpretation of each card. There are other books that have a variety of spreads but if your interested in the celtic cross you will not be dissapointed. This book also had a few other spreads.
Excellent Tarot Book Jan 21, 2009 The author does an excellent job explaining the Tarot and includes exercises as well. I recommend this book to anyone interested in learning The Tarot.
