plain and simple, just as it says Sep 27, 2009
I have other tarot books but find this the best. I especially like that the
author has organized the book by the number association instead of by 'suit'.
This makes it far easier to use for me! It also contains reverse meanings but
I tend not to read that way. I am glad I have added this to my collection and
have made it my favorite.

The best! May 20, 2009 Same here.I have been reading Tarot for over 20 years and this is just the best book there is!It comes with a single key theme for each card that is easy to grasp, remember and is also spot on! This is still a great help to me, although I am well advanced and know most cards by heart.

The Standard Reference Book for Tarot Interpretation Dec 08, 2008 This book belongs in the library of every serious student of Tarot. As another reviewer said, this is the book that I keep out for reference whenever I do a reading, whether for myself or for someone else. I've been reading/studying the Tarot since 1991 and have many, many books on this subject, but "Tarot Plain and Simple" is by far the best one for accessibility, ease of use, and clear, easy to understand interpretations for each of the cards. Please note that "easy to understand" does not equate to shallow; on the contrary, Mr. Louis gives you plenty of material to work with and/or chew on. But he does have a real talent for presenting the interpretations in such a clearly written, concise, and generally 'dead-on' style that you will find yourself turning to this book again and again whenever you need some guidance in a reading. He also provides additional information on the Tarot and Astrology and Numerology to give your readings added depth- not so much to weigh down the reader, but enough to make this book a very interesting read and a handy, 'must-have' reference. This is an excellent resource for understanding the Tarot.
